Murder at Eastfield College

Jason Eberheart was found murdered yesterday at Eastfield College near the C building as the result of a stabbing. The victim was found lying on the ground between C building and N building around 1:00 p.m. on June 16.

Marcia Ramirez, a maintenance worker at Eastfield, reported seeing someone running away from the crime scene where she found the body of a white male lying on the ground with a knife in his neck.

Ms. Ramirez said, “I was on my way to the C building when someone ran past me. I didn’t think nothing of it until I saw a man lying on the floor.”

She attempted to cover the body with a sheet. Ms. Ramirez recalled that the man running from the scene had blond hair and he was about 6’ tall. She said his arm and shirt were stained with blood.

Jason Eberheart is from Mesquite, Texas. He is 5’8” tall and weighed about 160 lbs.

He was not found to be a student of Eastfield College.

Lt. John Hill of the Eastfield College Police arrived at the scene and immediately posted two officers while they attempted to catch the suspect on the campus. The C building was completely closed due to a search throughout the whole building that turned up nothing.
